I am a small-time breeder located in Rahway, NJ.  I usually produce 1-2 litters per year in order to keep my quality up and to maintain the personal touch with my dogs and puppies. Neither my pups nor my dogs are ever placed in cages, which is not the same as crate training which I start doing with the pups at 3 weeks old. I start socializing them with my other dogs at approximately 3 weeks old. Although I have no children around my home, I try very hard to have young ones come to my home to play with the puppies.  I feel it is important for a puppy to be handled by as many different people as possible. 

My goal as a breeder is to provide the HEALTHIEST puppies possible, which is why I register all AKC dam and sire DNA with AKC. I do DNA tests for various diseases and have CERF eye exams  and OFA, Orthopedic Foundation for Animals,learn about OFA  exams done on a regular basis.  I GIVE MANY HAPPY REFERENCES BECAUSE MY GOAL IS FOR YOU TO FEEL 100% COMFORTABLE YOU ARE GETTING A HAPPY, HEALTHY, WELL ADJUSTED PUPPY.  I recommend to all prospective buyers to ask the breeder LOTS of questions and to verify everything that the breeder tells them. I encourage my customers to check my AKC/CKC affiliation.

Many people ask me why I like cockapoos so much.  I think cockapoos make fantastic family pets because they are sturdy animals that maintain their puppy playfulness for many years.  They usually acquire the poodle brain, which makes them quite intelligent and easy to train.  They do not normally attach themselves to one member of the family, but love and play with EVERYONE of the family.  I have found a good website which talks about the pros and cons of cockapoos,  http://dogs.lovetoknow.com/wiki/Cockapoos .

 I require a deposit to reserve the puppy of your choice.  Please email or call to be sure the puppy that you want is still available before sending a deposit.  I try not to ship puppies, but since I drive to NJ, I make every effort to meet people anywhere along my route from SC to NJ (I drive 77 to 81 to 78) to deliver their puppy to them.

     The puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale.  The buyer has 14 DAYS to have their puppy checked by a vet.  If any problems are identified, I will refund the FULL AMOUNT OF PURCHASE MONEY to the buyer and take the puppy back, if it is done within that first 14 days.  Although this has never happened, I feel it is easier to refund a persons money than to ask them to wait possibly up to a year for a replacement puppy since I only produce 2-4 litters per year of BOTH cockapoos and poodles.

Smiley Belle delivered 7 pups March 6, 6 boys and 1 girl. These are first generation cockapoos.  Mom has had DNA tests and CERF eye exam. Pups will be approximately 12-15 pounds fully grown and approx. 12 inches high at the shoulder.  Click on link and that will take you to my facebook page that has all the puppy pictures.
